Do you hold a live CSWIP? Are you looking to work for a large but constantly growing multi discipline business? Are you looking for a workshop role within quality inspection? The client has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Quality Inspector, there is a requirement for work at their Daventry Workshop to oversee the fabrication and testing of various systems of pipework. The successful candidate will oversee piping and welding activities and ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. ROLE • Ensuring the efficient implementation of all systems in accordance with the Business Management System (BMS), including document control, risk management, Control of Records and QA/QC procedures. • Carrying out surveillances and inspections in accordance with the Project expectations and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP\’s). • Preparing and maintaining Handover Dossiers and Final Certification Packages as required. • Storing all inspection equipment and ensuring Calibration System is in full compliance of company and client requirements. • Maintaining Welder Qualification Certificates and issuing Weld Procedures to the Welders. • Providing technical support for welding activities as required. • Liaising with and controlling NDT Subcontractors, including monitoring all safety aspects and reviewing performance. • Reviewing and reporting the weekly welding performance to the Project Manager. • Collating details of daily welding progress. • Liaising with the subcontractors and clients representation. REQUIREMENTS • Has and maintains a CSWIP welding inspector certificate amongst other NDT qualifications. • Ability to build strong relationships with delivery teams and project managers. • Substantial practical experience in quality management in a relevant business environment. • Experience of building a quality management framework & KPI measurement. • Pension Scheme • Private Healthcare
