Our client, an innovation Media Entertainment Brand are seeking an experienced and dynamic Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to join their Talent Development team. Reporting directly to the Director of Learning, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning culture and development strategy within the organization. You will partner with department heads to conduct learning needs analyses, design and develop impactful blended learning programs, and deliver and facilitate engaging training sessions across the company, with the support of 3rd party suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to identify and assess learning needs across various teams.
  • Conduct thorough training needs analyses to pinpoint skill gaps and align learning initiatives with business goals.
  • Use data and insights to inform the development of targeted learning strategies that address specific needs.
  • Design and develop innovative blended learning programs that combine e-learning, workshops, coaching, and other instructional methods.
  • Create engaging and relevant content that resonates with diverse learning styles and audiences.
  • Leverage technology and digital tools to enhance learning experiences and ensure content is accessible and impactful.
  • Facilitate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars both in-person and virtually, ensuring a high level of participant engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Train and support other facilitators within the organization to deliver consistent and effective learning experiences.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs, gathering feedback to continuously improve content and delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including department heads, HR, and other relevant teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on L&D best practices and emerging trends.
  • Partner with external vendors and consultants when necessary to bring in specialized expertise or resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in learning and development, particularly in the media industry.
  • Regularly review and refine learning programs to ensure they remain relevant and aligned with the company\’s strategic objectives.
  • Collect and analyze data on the impact of learning initiatives, using insights to drive improvements and demonstrate ROI.

Qualifications:

  • Robust experience in a L&D Manager or Business Partner role preferably within Media, Entertainment, Retail, FMCG, E-Commerce or another fast paced industry
  • Strong understanding of learning needs analysis, strategic program design, and adult learning principles.
  • Experience designing and delivering blended learning programs that combine various instructional methods.
  • Ideally experience leading learning programs within Leadership Development.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to deliver when needed, and engage diverse audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in using learning management systems (LMS) and other digital learning tools.
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Relevant certifications in learning and development or instructional design (e.g., CIPD, ATD).
  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
