The Delivery Manager is a critical role supporting the delivery of contracted professional services within the technology space to our customers. Our customers are largely within the UK public sector, but we also have private sector and third sector customers. We build teams to either deliver a complete outsourced service or to blend with a customer team to enable a joint delivery.
We are looking for a driven, autonomous and experienced Delivery Manager to report into the CTO. The CTO is accountable for the overall successful service delivery to all customers.
At a high level this key role involves meeting each client’s expectation through delivery of the service, performance management of our teams and managing risks/resolving issues associated with the service. In terms of technology delivery, it’s a hands-off role, but to be successful in this role the Delivery Manager must stay close to our customers and our teams and have clear oversight and understanding of what they are delivering.This role requires the successful candidate to possess the rare mix of project delivery, people management and stakeholder management all within a technology landscape.

Principal duties and responsibilities
Delivery Management
Supporting RedRock customers with requirement definition and proposing delivery options that could support an effective delivery to support them.
Lead & manage Statement of Work (SoW) creation and tracking / KPIs / facilitate the contract renewal process with the RedRock leadership team.
Lead the delivery of contracted services aligned to agreed statement of works, client’s requirements and routine delivery governance & assurance standards.
Key stakeholder management, routine SOW tracking, account reviews and performance assessments with RedRock’s customer.
Risk identification and mitigation.
Team Management
“Dotted-Line” matrix management of each deployed RedRock team, monitoring team and individual performance, and conducting regular 121s and support / welfare checks.
Support the wider RedRock business on new requirements, resource planning and supporting the hiring process where required.
Delivery operations such as financial reporting, timesheet and invoice approvals
Escalation and incident management
Strategic
Identify growth opportunities within existing customer accounts and collaborate with the wider RedRock team to explore.
Support business development activities such as proposal and case study production based on experience on the ground.
Support the Delivery team with internal initiatives related to maturing governance and processes as RedRock continues to grow.
Support & coach the wider RedRock team to allow them to build the best team for our customers.

Must Have Experience
Minimum 5 years’ professional experience.
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a consultancy or digital agency organisation.
Demonstrable experience of working in a highly visible customer facing role.
An IT delivery background (not limited to tech roles – i.e. IT project management).
Able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across many levels in an organisation.
Has led or has been involved in the hiring process.
Awareness of commercials and contracts.
Has managed people (directly or indirectly) in an IT environment, ideally both permanent and contract.
Familiar with managing risks and resolving incidents with customers.
Experience of building MI / Reporting for customers.
Desirable Experience
Previous experience of working across a broad range of business sectors covering both the public and private sectors.
Experience delivering to UK government Digital & Data departments including familiarity with GDS Service Standards and delivery lifecycles.
Experience in content writing for bids/tenders/RFPs
Renumeration
Base Salary up to ÂŁ45k
Discretionary bonus directly linked to successfully awarded new business that the Delivery Manager supports.

Primary Office: RedRock HQ, Clifton, Bristol
Secondary Location(s): Work from home / customer sites
Travel Requirement: Approx 25%, as needed only. For example, an offsite meeting / visiting a partner organisation where we’re collaborating on a bid.
RedRock’s office is in Clifton, Bristol and we have a Working Arrangements Policy in place to help us bring our team together as much as possible. As such, we operate Monday & Thursday “all hands” days where the whole team come into the office. For local employees (within 10 miles), we require 4 days in the office, 1 from home (not withstanding on site client commitments). We will review all applications but we would prefer applicants to be located in Bristol or surrounding areas.
