Development Engineer

T2M Resourcing are currently working alongside an exciting automotive manufacturing business to help them to recruit a Development Engineer.
As a Development Engineer, you would be responsible for developing and delivering powertrain systems for a variety of applications, predominantly focussing on projects within the motorsports and automotive sectors.
Key Responsibilities as a Development Engineer
- Oversee the planning, design, development and testing of systems in line with client requirements.
- Work closely with design, production and manufacturing engineers overseeing all stages of projects.
- To develop and implement test procedures and then interpret and analyse the results and data of these tests, to report and present data to clients and managers.
- Management and coordination of a concerns database, ensuring all issues are logged.
- To demonstrate through testing that the system/features meet all specified requirements.
Requirements to be a successful Development Engineer
- Experience in or an interest of powertrain Engineering.
- Knowledge of project delivery within an engineering systems environment essential.
- Experience of working with Electric motors or inverters.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
- Strong technical report writing skills, with experience in delivering presentations.
- Degree qualified in a relevant engineering subject.
Based from the company’s headquarters in Milton Keynes this opportunity will provide the successful applicant the opportunity to work on a number of exciting projects within the automotive industry.
This role will likely pay up to £45,000 depending on the level of experience, with the package also including a Private Medical plan, a good holiday allowance growing with service and the option to join an Electrical Vehicle Sacrifice Scheme.
