Data Analyst – Data Lineage Location: Belfast – Hybrid Working (3 days onsite) Daily Rate: £400 – £450 (inside IR35 via umbrella) Contract initial End Date: December 19, 2025 Overview: Our client is seeking a talented Data Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. This role requires a deep understanding of how various areas integrate within the sub-function and contributes to the overarching objectives of the organisation. You will evaluate moderately complex issues that have substantial potential impact, navigating various alternatives and balancing conflicting situations through the use of multiple information sources. Your strong analytical skills will allow you to philtre, prioritise, and validate complex data effectively. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with end users to define and integrate processes that align with the enterprise Data Governance roadmap and Data Risk and Control framework. Execute Data Lineage, including the collection of interface and database details, ensuring efficient upload and maintenance for reuse and visualisation. Provide technical expertise to facilitate the design, development, and implementation of complex projects. Review and assess the work of colleagues, offering constructive feedback and guidance. Utilise your understanding of business analysis concepts to resolve issues and contribute to enterprise-wide policy recommendations. Qualifications & Skills: 3-5 years of relevant experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or a related field. Strong project management and business analysis skills. Proven experience with large-scale Data Lineage programmes. Ability to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders while managing tight deadlines and unexpected changes. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
