About the Role: As a Senior Buyer, you will play a crucial role in the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services for a variety of exciting projects. You will be responsible for: * Sourcing and procuring materials and services in line with project requirements. * Sourcing Plant * Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms. * Managing supplier relationships and ensuring performance meets expectations. * Preparing and issuing purchase orders. * Monitoring market trends and identifying potential cost savings. * Working closely with project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials. * Maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities. About You: * Proven experience as a Senior Buyer within the construction industry, ideally with experience working on main contracting projects. * Strong negotiation and communication skills. * Excellent knowledge of construction materials and procurement processes. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * CIPS qualification (desirable).
