A brand-new opportunity has become available for a Semi-Senior Accountant to join a fantastic local firm of Accountants based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. This position, designed to join on a permanent, basis will report into one of the team’s standout managers and support the wider team. This is a newly created position following successful and continuous growth over the past 12 months and duties will predominantly include: the preparation of management accounts, assisting with audit work from planning to completion and the preparation of financial statements. As Semi-Senior Accountant you will be entitled to a generous wider benefits package including full study support and the ability work within a fantastic wider team who have fostered a collaborative approach, whilst enjoying the rewards out of work – including bottomless brunches! Duties and Responsibilities will include: * Preparation of Management Accounts for small and medium sized businesses (SME’s) * Corporation tax calculations and submissions * Preparation of audit fieldwork to assist from planning to completion * Build strong relationships with a variety of senior stakeholders including business owners * Preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and SME businesses Person specification: * AAT Qualified or ACA part-qualified * Experience of using QuickBooks and Xero (desirable) Should this position be of interest – please get in touch as soon as possible to progress your application with an initial briefing call.
