Job Title Senior Waste Process Engineer Job Overview Southern Water is currently looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join its Wastewater Process Engineering Team based in Brighton. As part of a dynamic and multiskilled team, you will be responsible for providing technical support in producing design deliverables on wastewater treatment projects and supporting site operations. You will be responsible for producing process calculations, control philosophies, process flow diagrams, process and performance specifications, P&IDs, compliance, and commissioning plans. You will also be responsible for leading innovative process solutions that contribute to TOTEX efficiencies. As part of site operations support, you will provide expertise in improving site performances, supporting commissioning activities, implementing optimisation measures and troubleshooting wastewater treatment plants. You will have a demonstrable track record and experience in delivering wastewater treatment process design with a good understanding of operations, optimisation and commissioning. You will be responsible for mentoring junior process engineers. You will have a good understanding of developments in the industry and innovation. You will have proven skills in analysing data to evaluate the performance of existing assets and develop process solutions. Ideally, you will be a Chartered member of a relevant professional institution.
