Job Title: Purchase Order Stock Clerk Salary: £23,500 – £25,500 / year base + Benefits (listed below) Location: Leicestershire, LE16 7FS Hours: Monday to Thursday 9.00am – 5.15pm and Friday 9.00am – 4.30pm Job Type: Full-time, permanent We are seeking a punctual and hardworking Purchase order stock clerk, who enjoys being part of a small team and working in a fast-paced environment to join our company here at Fairway Seals. About Us Fairway Seals has been serving the needs of the sealing industry since 1977, we have built a reputation for dealing with customer requirements in a friendly and professional manner. All Fairway Seals staff are trained with service to our customers as a priority ensuring out right first-time motto is seen to be the norm and not an aspiration. Listening to our customers and working with them to achieve a desired outcome both parties can have prosperous futures. We are seeking a purchase Order clerk to join a friendly office that is busy, varied and offers a great working environment. Candidates must be punctual, hardworking, enjoy being part of a small team and have excellent communication skills, basic computer knowledge of word and excel would be a benefit. Duties will include but are not exclusive to: Managing a busy volume of purchase order requests Source stock buying with the best supplier Chase deliveries and confirm dates Create new stock records Support – including processing purchasing orders Maintenance of stock levels Organisation of foreign shipments Entering and processing data against ledgers General administrative/ business support duties Full training will be provided for the above, with the view that the role will evolve as the business continues to grow.Looking for someone that has the below characteristics: Good level of IT skills, competent with Excel and other basic computer systems Excellent communication skills to communicate confidently and effectively Good time keeping Strong attention to detail Flexible and adaptable to change skills Ability to prioritise tasks appropriately Great work ethic Happy personality Be confident, willing to learn and flexible within the working environment.Benefits: Bike to work scheme Training provided Free parkingNext Steps To apply for our vacancy for Sales Executive, please click on Apply and upload a copy of your CV.
