Dalkia UK are looking for a Procurement Manager based out of our Manchester or Birmingham office to provide supply chain management and support in our fast paced, growing facilities management business. Reporting directly into our Head of Procurement, this is a great role that you’ll really have the chance to make your own.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Input into and support the implementation of the supply chain strategy which ensures the business is provided best in class suppliers at competitive rates, to enhance our overall service offering to our customers.
- Work openly and collaboratively with business units in respect of supply chain for new bids, re-tenders, renewals and existing contracts covering maintenance, reactive, small works and projects service lines.
- Support the delivery of profit improvement through better buying, preferred supplier framework agreements, category management and through adopting best in class procurement practices throughout the business
To be successful in the role you will have:
- A procurement background in facilities management or similar service outsourcing business
- Intermediate Excel skills inc. pivot tables, v look ups, formulas – to be assessed as part of the selection process
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- CIPS level 4 or 5
