Operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, manage supplier relationships, and optimise inventory levels to maintain efficiency and cost control. With a focus on continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence, this is an opportunity to lead strategic initiatives that drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Production Supply Chain Manager, Inventory Manager – Manufacturing, ERP As our Production Supply Chain Manager, you will: · Lead and optimise the entire supply chain, from raw material procurement to finished product distribution via production · Develop and implement a production planning strategy to maximise efficiency and reduce lead times · Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimising costs · Oversee supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and securing favourable terms · Ensure accurate stock controls with strong organisational skills, conducting both perpetual inventory checks and annual stock takes · Work closely with external logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods · Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, implementing contingency plans where necessary · Use ERP systems (we use Infor M3) to streamline operations and enhance visibility · Monitor supply chain performance metrics, implementing improvements where needed · Drive a continuous improvement mindset, championing Lean Manufacturing principles YOUR BACKGROUND: Production Supply Chain Manager, Inventory Manager – Manufacturing, ERP To be successful in this Supply Chain Manager role, you will: · Have experience in a supply chain role which has covered, production planning, within a manufacturing environment · Be familiar with inventory management, supplier negotiations, and logistics coordination · Have strong ERP system experience (Infor M3 is a plus but we can train you) · Be data-driven, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills · Demonstrate leadership abilities, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive change · Be commercially astute, with the ability to balance cost, quality, and delivery requirements Ideally, you will have experience in aerospace, automotive or high-precision, high volume manufacturing YOUR EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS: Production Supply Chain Manager, Inventory Manager – Manufacturing, ERP · Likely degree educated in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or similar · A CIPS Level 5/6 or relevant supply chain qualification is preferred · Experience of working in an ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO 45001, IATF and/or AS 9100 would be an advantage INTERESTED?
