Position: REGISTERED MANAGER – CHILDREN'S HOME – LD & AUTISM Location: BIRMINGHAM, WEST MIDLANDS Salary: c £55K PER ANNUM – NEGOTIABLE DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE Hours: FULL TIME PSR Healthcare are delighted to be partnering with a dynamic and innovative UK care provider in their search for a Registered Manager for a brand new service, recently commissioned in Birmingham. As this LD & Autism Children's Registered Manager you will be overseeing the day to day running and operations of a 3 bedded residential home, ensuring the delivery of high quality care. Job Requirements: Provide strong leadership, direction and guidance to a dedicated care team, promoting a positive and inclusive working culture Manage residential staff team, including Deputies, Team Leaders and Support Workers Develop and implement care plans, tailoring them to meet individual needs and preferences Ensure compliance with Company, Children's Homes Regulations & OFSTED, standards & policies Developing effective relationships with key stakeholders including Local Authorities and Care Quality Groups Maintain accurate records and documentation, including individual care plans, risk assessments and incident reports Coordinate holistic support for the children and young people and promote an environment of continuous improvement to enhance the quality of care providedSkills / Qualifications: 2+ years experience of managing a Children's Home / Service NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management or Children's Residential Care Sound knowledge of OFSTED legislation, regulations and best practices in children's residential care services Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and external stakeholders.
