Planning Engineer Salary dependent on experience Poole, Dorset Our client who specialises in Precision Engineering, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team! Planning Engineer Roles and Responsibilities: * Determine and organise optimum manufacturing methods and processes * Produce workshop job packs to AS9100 standard for release on to the shop floor * Working to customer specifications and quality standards * Support production with technical issues * Identifying and organising tooling requirements for new parts * Working closely with both customers and suppliers Planning Engineer Ideal Candidate: * Previous experience in an Aerospace or other (high precision) manufacturing environment * A good understanding of machining and manufacturing processes * Previous experience of ERP systems and Excel * Appreciation of commercial considerations * Experience in the use of CAD systems (Catia) beneficial * Good level of understanding of materials and surface treatment processes Planning Engineer Working Hours: * Monday – Thursday: 36 hours * 08:00am – 16:00pm Core Hours * Semi flex hours to make up additional hours Jackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 27 years.
