Registered Manager – Therapeutic EBD Residential Children's Home Location: Bexhill-on-Sea, United Kingdom. Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 with incentives up to £10,000 per annum An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Registered Manager, overseeing a Brand-new Residential Children's Home in Bexhill-on-Sea. Virtue Therapeutics Care and Education aims to raise the standards of children’s homes through the creation of specialist therapeutic communities that genuinely care. Our Home is staffed with caring adults who work together and have a therapeutic ethos centred around developing sustainable success for the futures of our young people. Job Description If you are interested in taking on an exciting new role and growing a brand new children's home we would love to hear from you, please read on below for further information: You will be leading the opening of a brand new home supporting young people with EBD. A commitment to prioritising the welfare of young people above all else. Comprehensive understanding of Safeguarding principles and practices. Ability to manage efficiently and fairly, fostering an environment conducive to the growth and development of both staff and residents. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. Foster a nurturing environment where young people can flourish and develop their potential. Effectively communicate with residents and staff members to address needs and concerns. Provide leadership and supervision to staff members, promoting professional growth and development. Collaborate with external stakeholders to facilitate opportunities for further education and career advancement for young residents. Uphold the company ethos of prioritising the well-being and development of young people. Requirements QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (to be obtained within 3 years of starting to manage the children’s home) OR Registered Managers Award/NVQ 4 in Health and Social Care and Management OR Relevant management qualification (equivalent to the Level 5 Diploma). Minimum of 2 years in a management position within residential care of children in the last 5 years. Minimum of 1 year experience of line management/staff supervision of staff in a care role Management in a relevant residential care setting. Worked within Ofsted inspection framework.
