Our client is seeking enthusiastic Fitness Instructors to join their team across various active sites in Wolverhampton, including Central, Aldersley. If you have a Level 2 or 3 fitness qualification and a zest for helping others achieve their fitness goals, we want to hear from you! Position Details: Location: WV Active Central and Aldersley Pay Rate: Β£13.26 per hour Shift Pattern: Ad hoc shifts Your Role: As a Fitness Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding health and fitness programmes. You will be responsible for providing engaging instruction across various settings, ensuring our clients have a safe and enjoyable experience. Key Responsibilities: Deliver practical health and fitness instruction, including personal training, aquatic programmes, group exercise classes, and fitness suite inductions for ages 8 and up. Ensure classes start on time and manage late arrivals with professionalism. Confirm that participants have paid the appropriate fees in line with council regulations. Uphold health and safety standards, reporting any issues to the Duty Officer promptly. Follow Normal Operating Procedures and Emergency Action Plans at the leisure centre. Provide first aid and emergency support as needed. Manage fitness equipment, ensuring proper use, maintenance, and return. Conduct weekly inspections of fitness facilities, reporting required repairs to the Duty Officer. Address customer queries and complaints, escalating to the Health and Fitness Leader when necessary. Recommend service improvements based on customer feedback. Collaborate with the Health and Fitness Leader to maintain high standards in programme delivery. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills.Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Fitness Instructor qualification is essential.
