Join us as a Portfolio Manager Take on a critical role managing a portfolio to realise the strategic objectives of the function and the bank You’ll be working in an innovative, forward thinking environment where you’ll be able to have a tangible effect on the function You can take advantage of our development opportunities and advance your career What you'll do In your new role, you’ll provide investment planning, transformation portfolio and design services, while partnering with a range of stakeholders to make sure an effective pipeline view of investment requirements is maintained, used, and kept under regular review. You’ll also make sure that the delivery of the project outcomes and services from the projects meets programme strategic objectives. It'll also be up to you to: Define, create and manage a multi-year strategic investment plan and make sure that it incorporates requirements of the budget, as well as cost benefits Forecast for current and future years and align to the strategic priorities Define and develop portfolio structure to provide appropriate governance, control and management of programmes and our interdependencies and change standards Conduct regular reviews of the investment portfolio, challenge the status quo, and drive informed decision-making about portfolio priorities Manage the review and approval process of the financial business case Define relevant, timely and accurate MI reporting to assist with the optimisation of strategic investment Drive decision making around the resourcing of portfolios in collaboration with the relevant senior colleague The skills you'll need To take on this role, you’ll need to hold an appropriate portfolio management qualification such as Prince 2 or Agile. You’ll also need: Knowledge and experience of portfolio management theories, models and practices Experience of delivering programmes in a global workforce including working with suppliers and partners in a managed services model Experience of delivering portfolio management in a technology and IT function
