Project Director | High-End Residential Hook, Hampshire (to cover Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, Wiltshire) Permanent Salary negotiable (DoE up to circa £100,000) + Travel Allowance (£8,000) + Private Medical + package This well-established, prestigious, family run building contractor specialises in renovation, extension and refurbishments of period and bespoke one-off properties. They have a requirement for a Project Lead / Project Director to join the team on some of the prestigious high-end residential projects in the South East. This could even suit an experienced Senior Contracts Manager (with super-prime residential experience) who is used to either being site based on one large scheme, or responsbile for several smaller projects at the same time. The position: ·Directing and coordinating all project activities with a focus on performance. ·Setting, reviewing, and implementing project strategy. ·Utilizing Project Commander software for programming, reporting, and delay analysis. ·Leading pre-construction and post-completion processes, managing defects and post-completion works. ·Overseeing people management, including team leadership, recruitment, and client expectations. ·Commercial Management: Understanding JCT contracts, managing notifications, claims, and disputes. ·Proactively working with commercial team members, overseeing procurement processes, and ensuring accurate reporting. ·SHE (Safety, Health and Environment): Proactively managing all aspects of SHE on-site, ensuring compliance with regulations. ·Administration: Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of compliance matters and utilizing company processes and systems.
