Graphic Designer – Greater Manchester Simon Acres Recruitment are looking for a highly self-motivated and driven Graphic Designer for a Kitchen & Bedroom manufacturer based in Greater Manchester. Our client is continuing to expand, and due to this, they have an exciting opportunity for an innovative and experienced Graphic Designer to join the business. This Graphic Designer position is new to the business and will include designing across multiple areas of the business, including Sales, Purchasing, Media/Marketing etc. Salary: £30,000 Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 16:30 (No Weekends) Graphic Designer’s key duties: – Creating and updating new brochures in line with design and marketing briefs – Creating impactful emails – Designing flyers and adverts for trade promotions – Preparing images and literature for print and web – Touching up images/colour correction – To ensure projects are delivered on time and of expected quality – Website design and maintenance – Liaise with other departments and suppliers to gain relevant information and to ensure content is accurate Skills/Experience Requirement: – Creative individual with great attention to detail – Creative flair, strong visual sense, and computer skills including MAC and PC software – The Graphic Designer will need to have a good portfolio of work where they have demonstrated their talent – A degree in a relevant subject alongside a strong portfolio, or have commercial experience – Good command of the English language to spot any spelling or grammatical errors – Experience of working in the KBB sector would be advantageous – Must be able to work independently at times Simon Acres Recruitment are acting as the employment agency in relation to this vacancy
