Production Planner Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire £28,000 – £32,000 Per annum Our client is currently expanding and are looking for an experienced production planner to join their growing team. Production Planner roles and Responsibilities: * Develop production workflows for multiple resource centres, ensuring processes are seamlessly integrated and run simultaneously * Implement, oversee, and coordinate all departments to ensure full alignment with the production plan * Recognize the ever-changing nature of business and customer demands * Adapt quickly, continuously adjusting plans and workflows, while effectively communicating updates to all stakeholders * Plan and manage all production operations to maximize efficiency using a real-time production plan * Coordinate with the stores team to ensure timely delivery of components and materials, ensuring alignment with the production schedule * Assess and allocate resources to meet production requirements and fulfil demand * Collaborate with all departments to maintain smooth production flow, ensuring timely dispatch as planned * Notify key personnel of any delays in supply or production, working proactively to minimize disruptions * Monitor and update production planning spreadsheets daily * Identify opportunities for improvement in the production planning process, investigate, propose, and implement changes * Provide support to the Production Manager in fulfilling all reasonable requests The ideal Production Planner will: * Previous experience working as a Production Planner * Knowledge of MRP systems * Working experience of MS office suite including spreadsheet experience * Excellent mental agility and ability to adapt * Good written and verbal communication abilities Working Hours + Benefits * 4-day working week! * Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 17:30 * 25 Days Holiday in addition to Statutory Bank Holidays * Paid overtime * Workwear provided * Free onsite parking * Pension * Cycle scheme Jackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 27 years.
