Calibration Technician Peterborough Working Hours 8am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs & 8am-1pm Fri 12 month contract (likely to be extended) Do you have 1+ years of experience in instrumentation calibration of measurement equipment? If so, this could be a great opportunity for you. Responsibilities of the Calibration Technician * Work to procedures/instructions to perform safe and defect free instrumentation solutions. * Implement Data Acquisition solutions to support testing of various powertrains to engineering requirements. * Operate a multitude of different off-highway vehicles including but not limited to, Hydraulic Excavators, Backhoe Loaders, Telehandlers, Track Type Tractors where required. * Diagnose and fix a range of faults data logging systems and sensors. * Work from engineering electrical drawings. * Produce electrical looms to interface powertrains to machine. Qualifications & Experience Required of the Calibration Technician * The ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions/procedures. * The ability to work closely with others is imperative, requiring team participation to achieve the agreed objectives. * A working knowledge of instrumentation and its application. * You will possess effective communication skills to liaise with various levels of the organization. * Have a fully flexible approach to the job role & responsibilities. * Prepared to undertake required training/learning. * Applicants will ideally have instrumentation and or data acquisition experience. * Working towards or completed some form of relevant higher education (NVQ Level 3). * Good PC skills ability to use Microsoft Office Competitive Hourly Rate – Umbrella OR PAYE To apply, please submit a copy of your up to date CV clearly indicating your relevant experience.
