Teaching Assistant Location: Enfield Salary: £90-£100 per day (Depending on Experience) Hours: 8.15 am – 3.45 pm Contract Type: Full-time and Long-term Start Date: Immediate Do you have experience as a Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with SEN? GSL Education are excited to offer the opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive school in Enfield. This is a full-time, long-term role where you will be working closely with students with complex needs, providing valuable 1:1 support to help them access the curriculum and reach their full potential. For the Teaching Assistant (TA) role, the ideal candidate will have previous experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a strong commitment to supporting their development both academically and emotionally. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students and contribute to a nurturing school environment. Responsibilities for a Teaching Assistant: Provide 1:1 support for students with SEN or complex needs, ensuring they can engage with learning. Assist in the delivery of the curriculum, helping students to access lessons in a meaningful way. Promote social and emotional development, encouraging positive behaviour and personal growth. Work alongside teachers and staff to track student progress and support individual learning plans. Create an inclusive, positive, and supportive environment that fosters student engagement and success. TA Requirements: Proven experience in supporting SEN students or those with complex needs as a Teaching Assistant. Ability to offer 1:1 support and use a child-centred approach. Resilient and proactive, able to adapt to the needs of students. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
