Role & Responsibilities:
• Supervise the work of junior technical specialists within the same discipline.
• Business Development responsibilities within the nuclear and defence industry
• Support the expansion and growth of the Shielding and Criticality team
• Contribute to the enhancement of existing shielding procedures.
• Lead a technical team
• Author shielding reports and related calculation notes, and verification of others’ work
• Integrate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that shielding issues are identified across projects and that consistent approaches are adopted, and timely support provided to all relevant project stakeholders.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
• HNC in Science or equivalent qualifications with experience
UK National Security Vetting Status – Applicants must be able to obtain UKSV SC Clearance.
