OPERATIONAL TEAM LEADER, We are looking for experienced and engaged Paramedic to join our operational leadership team at Paddock Wood . The successful applicant will be a keen problem solver, a caring individual and dedicated to providing compassionate leadership to our frontline teams., We are looking for highly motivated, operationally focused HCPC registered clinicians who have a desire to develop and lead an effective operational team. This will be coupled with ensuring the delivery of clinical and non-clinical KPIs at .

Operational Team Leaders will provide a core of effective leadership, clinical and management support for their team including maintaining their welfare, supporting personal development and reviewing performance.

You will also be expected to perform Operational Command (formerly Bronze Command) duties that include large scale and major incidents.

You will act as a direct line manager for a team of operational staff providing them with support, welfare and development., Operational Team Leaders will provide a core of effective leadership, clinical and management support for their team, including maintaining their welfare, supporting personal development and reviewing performance and progress.

The post holder will be responsible for leading and managing a team of staff within the operating unit, ensuring their continued development and clinical competence and will be responsible for all aspects of welfare for their team members, this will include all areas of sickness and absence management together with any staff welfare issues that may occur when performing the Bronze function.

The post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating all aspects of Personal and Development Reviews within their own team and working

alongside other operational team leaders and clinical mentors within the operating unit to ensure a consistent approach.

Please note that the salary range noted on the vacancy is in line with agenda for change (AFC) pay scales. All successful applicants would be placed automatically at the bottom of the banding, unless proven, relevant NHS or equivalent experience can be demonstrated.

In order to apply, you must have successfully completed a minimum of two years as a practicing Experienced Paramedic at Band 6 by the advert closing date.

Interviews will take place over two days, If shortlisted you will be required to attend a EPRR assessment on Thursday 20th March , only if successful will you be invited to the second part on Thursday 27th March., This role will require excellent communication skills, flexibility and a high degree of personal organisation to determine priorities and the ability to handle a range of issues. You will need to be an excellent problem solver, demonstrating flexibility in your approach to the changing priorities the Trust faces on a day-to-day basis.
