We are seaching for an ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant for our client, an e-commerce retailer with over 30 years of industry expertise in the category in which they operate. This is a £multi-million turnover and profitable business. With over 1 million customers, they boast an exceptional service record and excellent TrustPilot ratings. Key to their continued success is the hiring of a Management Accountant who will report into the Finance manager and be responsible for managing ledgers and transactions for the company. They will take ownership for inputting, maintaining and ensuring the accuracy of accounting records and trading entities, ensuring fiscal compliance and proving commercial insight to the board. The role Prepare the monthly management information pack (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow statements, unit sales, associates margin analysis etc) Own both the purchase and sales ledger, supporting the finance team to hit their KPIs Maintain the company balance sheet ensuring all accounts are fully reconciled on a monthly basis Ensure UK entities meet all their fiscal and reporting requirements in terms of Payroll, VAT, Corporation Tax and accounting Assist the finance manage in the production and circulation of a weekly rolling cashflow forecast and a monthly marketing spend analysis Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation and submission of the Company’s VAT returns Assist the Finance Manager in the supervision and training of the finance team, assisting with queries and providing appropriate training to minimise errors Act as the first point of escalation for any customer or supplier invoice queries Act as an ambassador for our client, supporting and promoting the Company’s Vision, Mission and Values The Person Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA) Experience in retail or D2C Good communication skills with all members of the team inside and outside Finance Enjoys sharing knowledge and mentoring other members of the team Super organised with the ability to prioritise the workload to ensure all tasks are carried out effectively and deadlines are met Competent use of MS Business Central or similar ERP system and Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Outlook and Excel)
