Job Description

Staff Validation Engineer

We are partnering with a growing technology company who are seeking an experienced Staff Validation Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. You will be a key contributor in bringing new products from concept to release, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Influence product design early in development, ensuring testability and validation coverage.
  • Develop validation solutions across hardware, software, and documentation.
  • Select and integrate bench-top test equipment for validation workflows.
  • Create automated test scripts using Python or LabVIEW.
  • Work collaboratively with design, product, test, and applications engineering teams.
  • Present validation strategies, status updates, and results in review meetings.
  • Generate clear technical documentation and validation reports.
  • Perform hands-on testing of high-speed optical components, ICs, and modules.

About You

  • Degree in Electronics, Physics, or a related engineering field.
  • Proven experience in product validation within optical, semiconductor, or high-speed electronics environments.
  • Proficiency in Python or LabVIEW for automation and data capture.
  • Strong understanding of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, BERTs, and optical measurement tools.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive communicator with strong problem-solving skills.
