VB.NET, SQL Developer – Leicester/Hybrid – Permanent – £40k-50k DOE + Flexible Benefits
Leading IT Consultancy with offices in UK, Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland, is looking to recruit a permanent VB.NET, SQL Developer. We deliver a range of services from IT Consultancy, Software Project Development and Application Support Services for our corporate clients covering Insurance, Retail, FMCG, Automotive, Logistics & Leasing, Publishing and Charity domains (including UN organizations) which are well-known names.
The role is fully office based in Leicester for the first 2 months and will later move to a hybrid pattern (split between Working from Home and travelling in Leicester/other sites).
As OCS is part of an Employee Ownership Trust, after a qualifying period the successful candidate will be able to contribute to the company's future vision and share in the profits.

Key Requirements for VB.NET, SQL, C# Developer:
- 8+ years of commercial experience with VB.NET and SQL – mandatory
- C# experience – nice to have
- Good analysis skills and experience working with data (ie to identify and resolve problems or analyze existing systems/applications to ascertain and document what they do) – would be an advantage
- Proven strong communicator, who is able to speak about technical matters in non-technical (plain) English
- Ability to hit the ground running (previous experience working on your own) – would be a great advantage
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced complex environment
- Flexibility and an open-minded approach to work with a 'can do' attitude
