Airswift are currently recruiting for a highly skilled C&I Engineer to join an innovative and dynamic project delivery team in Scotland, on a 12-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining instrumentation systems that ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability across various applications. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles, precision measurement techniques, and control systems, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Prepare drawings for installation (layout, termination, process hook-up, indexes, loops etc.)
Perform technical bid analysis on vendor quotations
Actively follow up suppliers to ensure correct project deliveries
Participate in project execution teams delivering projects on time, cost and quality
Update tag and other relevant documentation info in Document Control System
Prepare Engineering Work Packs (EWP)
Prepare MTO’s for bulk (tubing, fitting, cables, instrument etc.) Follow-up of yard installation work and respond to site queries

Education: MEng or equivalent work experience in an Engineering discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in an Oil and Gas/water treatment business in a similar role required
Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels
Computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat or similar, AutoCad drawing package and Navisworks 3D viewer.
All aspects of C&I engineering including but not limited to:
A full understanding of materials & installation methods used for Instrumentation systems
PLC/DCS systems
Network architecture
