This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading financial management firm committed to delivering personalised financial planning and investment services. The Senior Paraplanner position is a newly created role that will report directly to the Financial Planning Director and provide support to a growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients and will be Chartered or actively working towards Chartered status.
Responsibilities as Senior Paraplanner:
- Create and deliver high-quality, compliant, and timely suitability reports to RFP and clients
- Attend client meetings with Financial Planner to assist with understanding client needs and produce associated meeting notes/documents
- Respond to client queries where appropriate
- Support the Financial Planner in managing and delivering the ongoing client service strategy
- Prepare Annual Review documentation, including cashflow modelling where appropriate
- Proactively work with the Paraplanning Manager and team to deliver results
What you will need to succeed as Senior Paraplanner:
- Client-centric approach with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong understanding of the advice process and ability to identify appropriate solutions for clients.
- Ability to analyse features, benefits, and risks of products/policies and make confident recommendations.
- Excellent understanding of risk and governance frameworks and the regulatory environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Systems, report writing, and business systems (e.g., X plan/RID)
- CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Advice (Level 4) or equivalent (ideally Chartered or working towards)
- 3 to 4 years proven experience as a Paraplanner
- Must have strong technical paraplanning experience
- Experience of working with UHNW and HNW clients.
