The predicted salary is between 26500 - 62000 £ per year.
Undertake general maintenance and perform operational checks on a busy fleet of Freight Locomotives.
You will put your electrical skills to good use in undertaking electrical checks and testing, in-depth fault finding, diagnostics and rectification whilst supporting the mechanical technicians during less busy periods in general maintenance.

Live within a 1-hour commutable distance from the Leeds (Hunslet) depot.

Must be able to pass a Network Rail related Medical and Drug & Alcohol check.
Candidate background:
Candidates from a rolling stock, HGV, Armed Forces, PSV, Automotive, Plant backgrounds are preferred, although we encourage applications from a wide variety of backgrounds. A great attitude to work and a full appreciation to health and safety at work is also essential. A full UK driving license is desirable., Utilising test meters, with your knowledge and experience, you will support the engineering team in providing a swift turn around in the provision of electrical solutions on the locomotive. You will be able to competently use a multi meter and be able to work from and interpret wiring diagrams and other technical instruction.
Salary: £44,182 per annum with module enhancements available to increase salary.
Shifts: 2 days on, 2 nights on, 4 off.
Hours per week: 42.
Duration: Permanent.
Start date: Immediate.
Industries considered: Rolling Stock, HGV, Armed Forces, PSV, Avionics, Automotive, Plant but not exclusively these industries.
