Penguin Recruitment is proud to be working with a leading environmental and engineering consultancy who are looking for a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join their growing team in Chesterfield. The Role
Based in Chesterfield, you will:

Assist with environmental noise surveys, measurements, and data analysis.

Support senior consultants with acoustic modelling using tools such as CadnaA and SoundPLAN.

Prepare technical reports and contribute to noise impact assessments for infrastructure, transport, and industrial projects.

Develop knowledge of key industry standards and guidance, including BS5228, BS4142 and DMRB/CRT.

Undertake site visits and liaise with clients, planners, and stakeholders.

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams spanning environmental, planning, and engineering disciplines.
About You
We are looking for a motivated graduate who has:

A degree in Acoustics, Environmental Science, Physics, or a related discipline.

A strong interest in environmental acoustics and noise control.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

A desire to learn, develop, and work towards professional membership of the IOA (or equivalent).

A full UK driving licence (advantageous but not essential).
