Job Description
My Client, a market leading specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk Consultant to join their team. This is a remote role with projects based across the South West.
Candidates are required to have a MSc and BSc in a relevant discipline including Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Hydrology or GIS and have experience completing Flood Risk Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
Candidates are required to be confident individuals to manage projects, mentor and check technical designs.
It is beneficial for applicants to live in the South West.
As a Senior Flood Risk Consultant, you will have the opportunity to join an established team based across the South West. You will be expected to complete varied residential, industrial, renewable energy, wetland and re-wilding projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities, National Highways and Housing Developers.
You will be required to check technical work, mentor team members and complete the following;
-Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications.
-Surface Water Management Plans.
-Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.
-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.
-Environmental Impact Assessments.
-Water Quality Assessments.
-Project Management and Client meetings to discuss project development and to develop new business opportunities.
-Check technical work and mentor team members.
You will be expected to work remotely.
