Role Requirements
Head over Heels Gymnastics Club (Milngavie) are looking to appoint level 2 gymnastics coaches to support the delivery of the Preschool and Recreational gymnastics classes on a cover basis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work within a team to deliver preschool & recreational gymnastics sessions to a range of ages and ability levels
- Plan, develop and deliver skill focused session plans to engage and improve gymnasts\’ skill level
- Ensure a safe and fun learning environment is provided for all gymnasts
- Act as a positive role model to deliver the best possible experience for gymnasts
- Identify and develop club volunteers, mentoring and supporting with coaching qualifications (where applicable)
- Support with administration duties (where required)
Required Certification
- UKCC Level 2 General or Artistic Gymnastics Qualification.
- Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) is required for the post, applicants will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/Scheme checks
- Experience and knowledge of recreational and preschool gymnastics
- Experience of developing and delivering session plans to engage and aid with skill development
- Motivated and innovative person who is passionate about working with children in a gymnastics environment
- Ability to adapt and have a flexible approach
