Job Description

Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Electrical Technician looking for a new career opportunity? Our client, a reputable manufacturer based Manchester, is seeking a talented individual to become an essential part of their dynamic team.\\nJob Details:\\n * Ensure that preventative and reactive maintenance duties are carried out across the site.\\n * Work on ways to implement improvements to prevent waste.\\n * Collaborate with other maintenance team members to co-ordinate repairs and maintenance activities.\\n * Liaise with the Engineering Team Manager for workload planning and technical support.\\n * Participate in the planning and execution of minor and major shutdowns. Provide technical and hands on support as required during shutdowns.\\n * Able to organise and supervise various contractors as required at the site.\\n * Investigate and resolve equipment failures, determine root cause of failure, and recommend appropriate solutions to reduce re-occurrence of/or eliminate cause of failure.\\nQualifications/Experience:\\n * Minimum of 5 years experience within Manufacturing\\n * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (essential)\\n * 17th / 18th Edition\\n * SAP experience (desirable but not essential)\\n * Electrical experience in an ATEX Zone (desirable but not essential)\\n * CompEX (Ex01-04) & (Ex05-06) qualification (desirable but not essential)\\nWhat’s on offer:\\n * Shift: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm / 10:00am – 6:00pm weekly rotation.\\n * Salary: Paying up to £45,000\\n * Annual leave – 26 days + stats (rising to 30 days after 5 years employment)\\n * Life insurance – 3x Salary\\n * Pension scheme – 6% EE & 12% ER\\n * Gym membership\\n * Health & well-being program\\n * On-site parking\\n * Private medical insurance (partially funded through Employer)\\n * Referral program\\n * Sick pay\\nPlease Note: All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
