The above position has become available within our clients growing Hygiene Company located at their Depot based in Bloxwich, Walsall. They are a family orientated company and are looking to add to our existing team. Job Title: Clinical Waste / Delivery Driver Location: Walsall Hours: Mon–Fri, varying between 4am-3pm, approx. Minimum of 40 hours per week. Please note that you will only work around 8-10 hours per day between the times stated. Salary: £12.40 per hour Non ADR / £12.63 per hour ADR Duration: Permanent Benefits: Company pension, company vehicle, on-site parking, store discounts Job Description & Duties: Driving up to 3.5 tonne vehicles. Duties will predominantly include collecting bags of clinical waste mainly from nursing homes and nurseries. Also some servicing of washroom facilities which may include ladies sanitary units, air freshener units, roller towels and soap dispensers etc. may be required as well as servicing of water cooler units, dust mats and some deliveries of hygiene products. Our clients vary from nursing homes, doctor’s surgeries, schools, colleges, restaurants, hotels and nurseries mainly covering the Midlands and some surrounding areas including Milton Keynes, Cambridge, Lincoln, Leicestershire and Liverpool. Some assistance in the warehouse may be required from time to time. Requirements: •Full clean driving licence (Max 3 points will be acceptable) •Physically fit and strong as involves some heavy lifting, bending and carrying plus many customers may have flights of stairs •Pleasant and friendly manner •Confident driver •Customer focused •Reliable, adaptable and flexible to work fluctuating hours •Confident with use of Tablet / Ipad •Previous experience not essential but advantageous •Would suit persons that have worked within the care industry or waste industry Please be mindful that this role entails collecting bags of clinical waste and is not for the squeamish.
