Spire Cardiff Hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our exceptional Theatre team on a bank basis. This flexible role is ideal for someone with proven experience in admitting patients into the theatre department and supporting them throughout their surgical journey. Shifts will be offered on an ad hoc basis, covering busy periods, annual leave, and sickness,

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing a range of support services to the Nurses and Consultants during procedures
  • Provide patient support within the anaesthetics room
  • Checking instruments
  • Assisting with ordering equipment
  • Maintenance of quality care delivery
  • Understanding and contributing towards infection control

Who we\’re looking for:

  • Previous Experience working in Theatres
  • NVQ level 2/3 in health and social care is desirable
  • Willing to learn and develop
  • Passionate and motivated people
  • Good level of communication and good written English
  • Happy to be trained and looking for career development
