An exciting opportunity for a Control Account Manager has arisen within our Secondary Propulsion team In Raynesway – Derby

What you will be doing:
With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to be involved with the following:
- Responsible for the overall delivery of projects to meet the cost, schedule and quality objectives. Management of the project team; including setting up, developing and evaluating team performance where appropriate.
- Lead and coach a team of Project Engineers. Be responsible for the performance management and leadership of team members.
- Lead integration across all workstreams and organisational boundaries to deliver project objectives. Identify and secure resource. Identify and acquire the means to achieve project requirements. The CAM will identify, classify and mitigate all schedule, technical and cost risks associated with the Control Account
- Monitor, control and manage overall project performance to address deviations from plan in line with company standard processes, Status reporting to the Head of Programme / Programme Executive / Director
- Budget management and allocation for all aspects of the Control Account and Earned Value Management reporting.
- The CAM is accountable to the Head of Programme for Control Account Performance
- The CAM is accountable for all reporting of the performance of the Control Account
Who we’re looking for:

- Qualified to at least degree level or equivalent industry experience.
- Member of a professional body and working towards RPP (Recognised Project Professional) qualification or equivalent.
- Ideally, has experience and / or knowledge in all stages of a project lifecycle and has been responsible for the delivery of one or more of those stages through internal and external manufacturing resources.
- Exposure to non-core project management roles such as operations, purchasing, commercial, engineering management etc. This will include Influencing and management of key project stakeholders (internal and external).
- Experience managing complex projects in a Supply chain/Production/Manufacturing environment is essential. In addition, the management of in-load activities into the production environment is desirable.
