We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established construction contractor specializing in a variety of projects across the North West and Midlands. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, cost plans, and valuations.

Support in preparing subcontractor packages, conducting cost analysis, and evaluating tenders.

Monitor project costs and ensure cost control procedures are maintained.

Assist in compiling and reviewing contractual documentation, including variations and claims.

Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure financial aspects align with project delivery.
*
Work closely with the wider commercial and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.

Assist in the preparation of final accounts and reporting to senior management.
*
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry (preferably with a main contractor).

Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
