Join Our Team as a Payroll Administrator
Support over 7,000 employees by delivering accurate and timely payroll and pension services. Based in our Newcastle office three days a week (Tuesday to Thursday), with flexibility for remote work, and occasional travel to Stockton during training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end payroll operations, including BACS creation.
- Handle payroll tasks such as starters, leavers, changes, and ad-hoc payments.
- Administer pension schemes like NHS, Civil Service, LGPS, and others.
- Manage auto-enrolment and pension contribution changes in compliance with regulations.
- Calculate and process company benefits, holiday pay, and flexible benefits schemes.
- Process statutory payments and manage absence data per HMRC guidelines.
- Provide proactive customer service and resolve payroll queries.
- Support payroll projects, including TUPE transfers and issuance of formal letters.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience with large-scale payroll processing.
- Knowledge of payroll and pension procedures, statutory regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and payroll systems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Team player with good time management skills.
- Numeracy and literacy skills at least GCSE A/B level.
