We have an exciting temporary opportunity to provide maternity cover for the support of the visual arts programme. You will oversee the programme to ensure high standards of service delivery for residents within East Renfrewshire and the wider public. You will provide effective line management and supervision of ERCL Visual Arts Tutors and Assistants, ensuring appropriate staffing for the delivery of the service, classes, and events to maximize accessibility for participants.
We are looking for someone with a degree in arts, community development, or a related field. You should be able to work independently with minimal supervision, problem-solve, and exercise professional judgment. You will also collaborate closely with our Arts and Heritage team, Community Facilities, and Business Support staff as part of daily programme delivery; strong communication skills are essential.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience developing arts projects aimed at increasing participation and promoting access to arts and cultural services.
