Are you musical? Would you like to support service users to play and engage with music and its therapeutic benefits?
As a Music Session Volunteer you will help support the Occupational Therapy service to to facilitate music group activities at the Four Seasons Cafe at Lynfield Mount Hospital to encourage creative expression, learning new skills and connecting with others.
You will help develop service users knowledge, skills and understanding of music and musical instruments and equipment.
This role will come into regular contact with service users, and will be based at Lynfield Mount Hospital, Bradford.
Before applying, we ask that volunteers consider their availability within the next few months- our opportunities are not short-term and recruitment checks can take around 2-3 months to complete.
These recruitment checks include DBS check, references, right to work and online training. You will also need attend a face-to-face Welcome Workshop, Breakaway training and an Infection Prevention session., * Age restrictions
