Triage patients attending Pre Op Assessment Unit. Early screening for elective surgicalpatients.

Admitting patients for surgery and ensuring safe transfer to theatre.

We are looking for a Band 3 Healthcare Assistantfor our Pre-assessment team working across the sites.

The team provides a pre-anaesthetic assessment service for a wide range of patients undergoing surgery. The post holder will be expected to work in multiple locations across our trust sites.

You will need excellent communication skills, good clinical knowledge and a willingness to develop within this role. The candidate will be a highly motivated individual who has experience working in the pre-operative/surgical clinic or diagnostic setting, customer care experience would be an advantage, as the post holder will be expected to work with minimal support/supervision in the clinic.
