Piper Maddox is partnering with a leading international EPC that is expanding its UK delivery team to support the successful execution of a nationwide project portfolio, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. The business has delivered over 4 GW of projects across more than 20 countries and continues to build an exciting future pipeline. They are now looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of a CAD Design Engineer. Title: CAD Design Engineer Location: Farnborough (Hybrid) Salary: Up to £55,000 What you’ll be doing Preparing technical design and engineering documentation for PV projects Creating topographic layouts, water management plans, module layouts, string plans, and substructure plans Preparing construction details such as overall layouts, earthwork plans, earthing plans, and foundation plans Working on the design and visualisation of PV systems using AutoCAD (Civil 3D), PVcase, and PVSyst Skills & Experience Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related subject. 3 years of relevant engineering experience Good understanding of PV system planning on the AC and DC side Strong experience with AutoCAD and knowledge of PVSyst and PVcase Excellent written and verbal communication skills, alongside strong time management and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
