Job Description:

Principal Resourcing has a fantastic opportunity for a Secondary Cover Teacher to provide general cover across our Secondary Schools and Academies based in Scarborough and the surrounding areas.

We are sourcing candidates with specialisms in a range of subjects for long-term work across the Secondary curriculum, on both a part-time and full-time basis. You will work collaboratively with the existing staff team to deliver a challenging and engaging learning experience.

We welcome applications from ECTs and experienced Teachers. You can expect to earn up to £230 per day depending on experience.

Skills and attributes:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant qualification for teaching in the UK
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to personal and professional development, with a desire to progress in your teaching career.
  • A proactive team member, committed to raising standards and achievement.
  • A proven track record of excellent teaching practice.
  • A valid enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
  • You must have the Right to Work in the UK; we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
