THE ROLE
We are seeking a Professional Indemnity Lawyer with 5+ years PQE to support the Specialty team.

You will specialize in professional indemnity work, particularly defending claims against construction professionals.
The Specialty team handles a broad range of substantial, challenging, and largely contentious cases, including:
- Defending claims against professional service providers such as architects, engineers, and financial advisors
- Insurance policy coverage disputes
- Insurance and reinsurance disputes
- Claims related to construction, property damage, and aviation
ABOUT YOU
- 5+ years PQE or equivalent
- Established expertise in Professional Indemnity, especially construction matters and architect claims
- Experience in insurance litigation and policy coverage analysis is essential
- Experience with professional risk claims related to construction and reserving is essential
- Experience with other professional risk claims is desirable
- Understanding of commercial insurance policies, the insurance market, reporting, reserving philosophies, and relationships between brokers, underwriters/insurers, and lawyers is essential
- Previous secondment to or employment with an insurance organization is advantageous
