Through Life Engineer – Complex Engineering Projects
Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid – 1–2 days on site)
Salary: Up to ÂŁ50,000 + Bonus & Benefits
We’re seeking a Through Life Engineer to join a forward-thinking engineering business, taking ownership of key work packages that influence product design for support and develop cost-effective support solutions for customers worldwide.

What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as the lead for Design for Support within assigned projects.
- Using your Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) knowledge to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Applying supportability engineering techniques such as LORA, MTA, and LCC analysis.
- Working closely with colleagues in Reliability, Human Factors, Training, and Technical Documentation.
What you’ll bring:
- Solid understanding of ILS principles and supportability engineering.
- Experience with industry standards such as Def Stan 00-600 or ASD S3000L (or equivalents).
- Proven experience delivering through-life engineering in complex projects.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Bonus: Up to ÂŁ2,500 annually.
- Pension: Up to 14% total contribution.
- Flexi-leave: Up to 15 extra days off per year.
