An exciting opportunity for a Communications Marketing Manager – Defence, Security has emerged with a global FTSE organisation. You will drive communications and content campaigns government to government; to drive growth and development within the defence, manufacturing and security sector. This role will provide hybrid work, based out of the locations of Hampshire, Surrey or Monmouthshire; and the role will also include considerable travel.

  • Hybrid Working – 50% home based, offices in Hampshire, Surrey or Monmouthshire, The successful Communications Marketing Manager – Defence, Security will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development and implementation of communication strategies.

  • Leveraging media relationships and building new connections within business and industry media.

  • Plan and supervise events, fairs, and conferences.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and maintain open communication with senior management.

  • Deliver strategic partnerships to drive growth opportunities.

  • Line management, A successful Communications Marketing Manager – Defence, Security will have the following expertise

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Defence, Security or Industrial / Manufacturing sectors.

  • Outstanding Leadership capability with line management experience

  • Extensive communications or marketing communications experience

  • Ability to craft comprehensive and thorough campaign plans and deliver resulting output

  • Excellent stakeholder / customer engagement credentials and background

  • Excellent content creation, copywriting and creative communications skills, with an eye for detail

  • Ability to effective project manage and coordinate / deliver complex programmes of work
