Responsibilities
- Maintenance Engineer, Worksop, working rotating 12 hour days and nights.
- The role will involve breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, including high bay cranes, conveyors, and pallet de-stackers.
- Carry out automated materials handling equipment servicing in accordance with the quality standards set out in the equipment manuals.
- Undertake scheduled repairs following manufacturer recommendations and industry standard practices.
- Prioritise system faults.
- Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
- Maintain on-site spares at optimum levels.
- Represent the company professionally and maintain good customer relations.
- Adhere to the company\’s Quality processes and procedures.
- Make decisions on site with the customer’s best interest in mind, providing world-class customer service.
Application Requirements
- Ability to analyze under high pressure during difficult situations.
- Good all-round engineering skills.
- Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer background.
- Recognized Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working at heights.
- Understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic manuals and drawings.
- Experience working on automation, including pallet de-stackers, cranes, etc.
- Understanding of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules.
- Previous PLC experience is advantageous.
