The White Lion is a fantastic Pub attached to The Avon Gorge Hotel. It offers an outdoor terrace with stunning views of the Clifton Suspension Bridge and the Avon Gorge, private gardens that can be booked for exclusive BBQ\’s and events, big screen TV with most sporting events shown and a fresh and delicious menu.
When the sun is shining theterrace triples the number of guests that the White Lion can accommodateand turns the White Lion from a relaxing bar to one of the busiest watering holes in Bristol. This of course offers the management team a unique set of challenges managing guest expectations alongside operating costs and flexible rota\’s.
We are looking for a hands on operator to take on the challenges of the White Lion. You will be bringing all the experiencesyou havegained throughout your careers and putting them to good use. This isn\’t a role for the faint of heart; you will be leading form the front and will need to be organised, professional and have a keen eye for detail.
You will be reporting into the Bar Manager of The White Lion and working alongside the operations team on a daily basis. You will be responsible for delivering weekly sales targets and controlling payroll and stock. None of this will be new to you and it goes without saying that pushing the brand standards and developing your team will be worked upon daily.
