About the Role
I am seeking a commercially astute Senior Conference Producer and Portfolio Manager to join an award-winning, global media company that specialises in producing conferences for the energy and commodities market.
This is a high profile role where you will take ownership of the crude oil conference portfolio. You will shape and grow industry-leading events that attract senior executives, generate strong commercial performance, and enhance the organisation\’s global reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and deliver 3-4 major, international, conferences each year within the portfolio
- Develop and implement detailed portfolio growth plans (1-3 year strategy)
- Build strong sector knowledge and position yourself at the heart of the crude oil community through networking, meetings and market analysis
- Originate compelling commercial value propositions for each event
- Research, design and deliver innovative conference programmes with top-tier speakers and engaging formats
- Collaborate with internal teams (Editorial, Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Operations) to ensure seamless project delivery
- Identify opportunities for new launches and creative angles in response to market developments
- Present confidently to senior stakeholders and maintain strong external client relationships
- Attend and represent the organisation at all portfolio events and relevant industry gatherings
