Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher looking to inspire and nurture young learners?

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming school in Heanor, starting in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference during the crucial early stages of a child’s education.

As an EYFS Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Monitoring and assessing pupils’ progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
  • Supporting children’s social, emotional, and physical development.

To be successful as an EYFS Teacher, you should:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and best teaching practices.
  • Be patient, creative, and committed to supporting every child to reach their full potential.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Be able to provide a full, 10-year career history (CV) with any gaps explained.
